I’ve been a regular at JD Gyms Dundee for some time and have generally appreciated the value and facilities. However, I was disappointed to see that the hygiene stations — which used to offer alcohol hand gel and cleaning sprays for equipment — have been removed. Maintaining good hygiene in a shared gym space is essential, especially in high-traffic areas. I hope they reconsider bringing back these stations, as cleanliness is an important part of the gym experience.

For the price, this gym has pretty much all of the essentials, altho maybe missing a standing calf raises machine, but can make due without. However, the fact that the toilets are inside the changing rooms is a problem for me. there are no nonbinary toilets. being AFAB and feeling like I don't "pass" in the men's changing rooms, forces me to go the women's which makes me feel so uncomfortable. And the disabled toilets are always locked, so basically I don't fit anywhere. Maybe it should be time to move into 2025 jd ?
