Stopped by to give the gym a try. Maybe I just picked a bad day but the plates are a mess for anything related to compound lifts, not only stacked poorly on the racks but also consisting of 3 different brands of plates. There is one bench press station for the whole gym - that's right, the most popular compound lift has one station. The dedicated pullup bar has curved grips meaning you'll never go further than shoulder width apart. You can always hog one of the limited squat racks with flat bars for your calisthenics though. 🤦‍♂️ Finally one of the benches I used had sweat marks on it with a spray bottle to clean it but no towel. I just don't see how this gym justifies the price it asks or why it's so popular. Given you don't have to scan in I suspect locals just use it as a free community gym. All you need is the code they write up on the board for you next to reception. 😂 I won't be back that's for sure.
