I think the gym is fine in principle but a ton of broken equipment, missing labels on cable stack machines, buckets as ceiling is leaky. The standards of maintenance are waaay below you’d expect from an expensive gym like this. Can’t bring your bag in which isn’t really what I expect from an “extreme” gym that costs £40/mo (or more now). If you’re powerlifting, how are you supposed to carry your gear? Carry your belt, towel, water bottle, tripod for the gram, squat shoes, chalk, wrist wraps, knee sleeves, all in your hands? I completely understand that in a £12/mo gym this is a fair rule but in an expensive gym like this it’s outrageous that bags aren’t allowed (which they are in other “hardcore” gyms, of course). Overall a good variety of equipment in theory (if it works) but would expect a much higher standard of maintenance and more lenient rules from such an expensive gym. Also it’s cash only, also there’s no water fountain neither, and good luck finding 2.5 or 1.25 plates especially the latter as there’s what feels like one single pair in the ENTIRE gym.
