Dovecot Caravan Park

We visited here for a cheeky wee night away . I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised! The facilities were spotless and although shared facilities the cubicles all have their own toilet shower and sink. Their is a small clubhouse at reception where we played pool which was a nice change and indulged in some ice cream. The walks by the river were lovely and an array of birdies to hear. The site is very well maintained and whilst some pitches are still getting tidied up the ones that are finished are pristine. Also one of the things I liked was its a flat rate, no additional charges for extra child or adult. Might I add although its very close to the dual carriageway you are not impeded by the noise. Win win for me 😊🫶

Nice camping yite, although the constant traffic noise makes sleeping in a tent quite difficult. The facilities are spotless clean, showers have good pressure and temperature. It would be so nice, if the site would offer some food like pizza,... For a night perfectly fine, for longer, well, not for me.
