Stayed here for the Edinburgh fringe, great option for a cheap deal. Its a bit out of the way so you have to get a bus or a taxi into the city. The campsite is nice enough, nice big open space, nice and quiet, it has everything you would need, albeit the facilities were basic. There was a power cut on our last day which meant cold showers but that didn't deter us too much. Overall it was decent and would recommend to anyone trying to save a bit of cash at the fringe festival

We paid over £100 for 2 nights, due to it being the Edinburgh festival, would have expected better facilities. The site was busy but still space for more tents, not enough toilets and showers even for the tents that were there. Showers were tiny, changing area was muddy with no squeegee or mop available. Toilets had run out of loo roll and paper towels by morning, and weren't refilled til later on. Had to wait behind people washing dishes just to fill water bottle, no taps just for water as I've seen elsewhere. Access to facilities was not great and anybody with mobility issues would struggle. There was a disabled toilet with a 10" step and stoney hill to get into it. You need a wheelbarrow (provided on site) to get things to and from car, bit of a pain especially if you're pitched quite far down. Grass needed cut too.
