These was our local beach, when I was growing up. A lot cleaner today than back then. Chilly but sunny when I went, but two people in swimming. Brave or mad ? I returned in September 24, to see a seal on the beach.

Great for swimming and sea glass hunting but it can of course get real busy in the summer! When the tide is fully out it's faaaar and if you swim be careful of strong currents with the tide, sea wead and rocks at points! You also have to walk quite far if you have a dog since most of it is a dog exclusion zone
