Although no designated child play area, still plenty to discover around Castle Ward grounds for everyone who is interested in nature. Plenty of space for a caravan and awning. Dog friendly, clean toilets and showers. For any one coming from over the sea and want to discover Northern Ireland and beyond, camping Castle Ward is a good, cheap place to stay and start your journey. Plus as extra, free entrance to NT property all around Northern Ireland during your stay.

Castle ward is a beautiful caravan, camping spot on the shores of Strangford lough nestled with the national trust run castle ward estate. A beautiful location with very clean facilities. Better suited to families and dog lovers than couples looking for a quiet break. Great walking trails within the estate for those looking for nothing too strenuous.
