The Gym Group Chester City Centre

This gym has been a really frustrating experience. There’s a serious lack of equipment — I’ve been kicked off the only ski erg mid-workout for a class, even though it wasn’t being used and sat empty 10 minutes later. Staff handle situations poorly, and members often behave passive-aggressively, making the environment stressful rather than motivating. On top of that, the showers are unsafe and poorly maintained — most of the doors don’t even lock, which makes changing extremely uncomfortable. I’ve also experienced harassment from another member who has been staring at me while I change, which has left me feeling unsafe. Overall, this gym does not feel welcoming, safe, or well-managed. I cannot recommend it.

Really nice gym, spacious and relatively well maintained. My only issue is the showers and toilets. They need cleaning and checking more often, 9 times kit of 10 one toilet is blocked and 2 showers have loads of hair and build up on the sides.
