I went to moss side leisure centre with my five month old baby . To be honest , my husband was booking swimming lessons for our baby to that centre because it is near to us . Apart from this , i first thought to explore it by booking 2 tickets swim for all . When i reach there they told me i need to wait for half an hour it was totally fine i waited i was in good mood . Interestingly , at 12 o’clock the pool was ours only me and my baby . I asked them to click a picture or create a video because it was my baby’s first experience . They refused and said there rules are not allowed to capture . And i was not able to capture my baby’s first experience . 🥹🥹 I would not recommend this to new parents .

The centre is is very much part of the community. It is charity run and this should not be an excuse but sadly the levels of hygiene throughout the facility has declined over the years. This used to be the cleanest facility you could visit and all the staff took pride in making sure cleanliness was maintained. The gyms and the equipment, the pool and changing areas would benefit from a deep clean. The female gym seems like its an after thought. Its cluttered with oldest equipment and space is limited and would benefit from a redesign. Staff in general are personable and seem to like what they do. There are personal trainers who are happy to go over what they offer to help members reach their goals. Not sure if any of these reviews are read by the centre, but know there are members at the facility who highlight cleanliness and repair issues with the management. So if there are concerns seek them out. Overall; Like the venue and staff. Some of the older equipment is shabby and needs a good clean but generally work.
