Malacuna Liverpool

Firstly, it’s obviously still getting it sorted but my room was clean but basic. No signs for WiFi. No tea or coffee services. Bed was comfortable and duvet was warm. The bathroom was also clean and despite earlier reviews they seem to have sorted the hot water. Negatives: walls and floors are paper thin and you hear walking up and down the corridor, dropping of items on the floor etc. I was unlucky in that I had a neighbour who at 2.30am was in a furious mood we knew about it. Banging things so loudly I thought something collapsed. Very unsettling. If your running a tight budget this is a good clean place and I feel they working to make it a good place. Great for young people. Funky decor. Staff were friendly.

They were clearly going through some major renovations to the common areas as there wasn’t really much in the ways of that but my private room was good value I thought and had a large bathroom with good shower. Hostel is in a great location walkable to major Liverpool attractions and is clean. Our radiator didn’t work but they gave us a small heater good service.
