It was my second time staying at Jacksmere Farm and yet again, it exceeded all of our expectations and more. • Spacious • Hot Showers • Clean Facilities • Washing up station • Plug socket station for those who are not on an electric hook-up • Paddling pool and bouncy castle for the kids • Beautiful animals on the farm that are super friendly • Dog friendly • Fire pit hire. Although there is a down time at night, you are not expected to put your fire out at a specific time (unlike other campsites). As long as you aren’t causing a nuisance, you are left to your own devices. • Great location. Supermarkets less than a 5 minutes drive away. • Beautiful Views • Quiet surroundings The owner of the farm (Dave), was extremely welcoming and very friendly. There wasn’t enough he could do for us. He showed us around the grounds and let us feed the animals. We really appreciated this. Overall, it’s a great spot. We will be back again.

What a hell hole!!! Nothing like the pictures, no bar or restaurant, infact you’re lucky to get warm water to wash up with!! On arrival we was presented with an overgrown wild feild full of horse shite. Over the phone we was told it was £60 per tent and he preferred cash rather than booking online. For 3 tents we was charged £260 for two nights. Facilities are an old damp filthy rotten hut with a curtain over the entry doors, not sure which was male or female, risk it if you’re brave enough. We had all travelled quite a way so decided to rough it out for the sake of the children. Horses roaming freely, getting their legs tangled in the tents, braking our belongings and pooing everywhere. Two nights of no sleep, because of wild people in the next tent and the following night horses braking our things that were left in the front of our tents, too paranoid to sleep incase me and my children were trampled by horses while we slept. In the pictures it show a cute little pond!! Instead there is an inflatable pool filled with muddy water and two broken trampolines. Everyone quested him about the facilities and he says “ I don’t no about things online” Do not give this human your hard earned money
