Location is great for walk along the canal. Pitches are ok and owners are friendly. Access can be a bit tricky up the road but this isn’t a reflection on the site. The toilets are stocked with loo roll each day and were fine and were cleaned daily. The let down is the shower facilities which are in dire need of repair. I don’t mind old fashioned facilities as long as they are clean. When we arrived the shower was caked in green algae on the tiles,grout and shower hose. The shower tray was full of mould and grime. I went in the next day and bleached the whole cubicle before having a shower and it looked miles better. Just a quick clean each day is all it would need. The tiles are also loose and cracked, bring some flip flops if you’re getting a shower. We would return. I hope that the facilities have a bit of a spruce up ready for the next season as the site could really be wonderful.
