Really nice campsite, in a great location with views over the surrounding hills. Felt relaxed, with modern facilities and plenty of space. The showers were great, clean with hot water, just need a £1 coin! There was some noise (music) from a tent near me in the evening, but the campsite owner very politely asked for the volume to be lowered, which I appreciated! Overall a great stay.

Nice campsite, however the owner was quite rude when we paid. Good facilities, we loved the cafe/bar. There is only one toilet in the gents. The goats were nice. Quite an expensive campsite. Nice local walks. The road the campsite is on is sort of one way, and the way out is a cobbled street that is quite rough on a car. Worth noting you have to pay for the showers with coins, which you pay for per minute. Initially I thought this wasn’t great, but it makes sense as it gives everyone a chance to use the shower. Would have given a higher rating if not for the particularly standoffish owner
