Room was very good for a solo traveller. Looked newly refurbished this year. Breakfast was ok for the price but if you arrived after 8.30 there weren’t any croissants. Shower and water hot. Tea making facilities in room. Hairdryer too. ||Only cons were no decaf coffee or tea in the room and toilet paper, single ply.

Stayed at the Durham Super 8 and was really impressed with the standard of accommodation. Air Con worked superbly well and the TV streaming capability was great. Bed super comfy and shower spotlessly clean. Top marks to all staff 👍. Also found a great pub less than 2 miles away ‘The Ginger Dog’ - Amazing food. …
