Small campsite, but equipped with everything you need. Friendly welcome. There is a good shower (no push button) that provides a steady supply of hot water, the lights don't go out in between showers, and there is a trash can in the room. It's sad to have to mention this specifically, but unfortunately it's often not the case. As a woman, I am particularly grateful for these things! Two minor points: there were only three or five of us at the campsite, so the facilities are sufficient, but if it gets busier, another shower might be needed. Making the site easier to find from the road would be in their own interest. :-)

Great place that is local to us. This place looks fairly new but gets the one thing right that is most important when camping and that is space. The pitches are very generous in size and each one feels private. There is a large grass field which is well kept and very flat,, just like the pitches. Facilities are basic but there is everything you need, and most importantly very clean. There is only one shower that was kept clean, and when you consider some sites might have 4 or 5 showers but that could be for 40 or more pitches so I don't see a problem with this as there are not many pitches on this site. Check-in was easy and prices are reasonable. There are plenty of takeaways locally that will deliver to the site and it's only a short drive to local shops, pubs and the beach. We have been camping/caravan for over 30 years and been to some of the best campsites and some of the worst. This site will be added to one of our favourite sites that we will come back to for the fact that it is local, quiet, friendly, clean and not too big or commercialised. We did hire the fire pit which was very good value. This is what a campsite should be like.
