Parkdean Resorts Whitley Bay Holiday Park, Tyne & Wear

Got such great great memories of this place growing up! Been going here for 37 years and Although so much has changed and it had so much more in years gone by it is still a lovely place to visit. It is very very close to my heart! When I first used to go there it was called feathers and it had an on-site bar called the lighthouse club and it also had a big evening entertainment club called the galleon with a bar upstairs. It had an onsite arcade and games place with outdoor electric trikes for children. The staff were lovely especially the lady I will always remember from the on-site fish & chip shop. You of course had the permanent theme park too at Spanish city ! Was such a beautiful place. Have been for a while but planning to get up there next year so I can now pass on memories and take my child as my mum & dad did for me. The Geordies are just the most beautiful people in the world ! Always friendly and always have time for ya. I remember when the big ship caught fire out at sea and washed up on the beach at seaton sluice. I was actually up at this holiday park when it happened. Can’t wait to get back and visit. A very special place !

Fabulous mid week break, park was lovely and accommodation was perfect for our family. We all loved the facilities - swimming pool was like a sauna - and the kids enjoyed the adventure play park while we were able to watch with coffees and drinks. Entertainment was top notch!
