Moto Southwaite Northbound

We made a comfort stop here on a long coach journey north. It's an average sized services with ample parking space for both cars and heavy vehicles, and a good choice of food outlets: Burger King, KFC, Costa, Pret a Manger, plus a Greggs and a Cornish pasty van out the back, and a decent sized M&S Food and WH Smith. Plenty of indoor seating. The only letdown was the toilets; the facilities were modern and there were plenty of cubicles, but they were decidedly smelly and did not look as though they were being cleaned often enough. On the positive side, there was a great selection of snack foods at M&S. I bought a chicken sandwich, pork pie and drink to take on the coach. The food was very fresh and good quality, and the lady who took my payment was both helpful and friendly.

3pm on a Friday afternoon. Has all you would need but women’s toilets were disgusting. It was very busy and the poor cleaner was working to make it better; but there was toilet roll all over the floor, pee/ flush water on seats,soap not working and taps had no water pressure. Also disappointed to see how much they hike the prices on food. I get it’s because of convenience but it’s clearly busy to still make profit with more reasonable prices.
