As a 1st gym goer at 46 , I have nought to compare it too. It was clean .. friendly , I did want to use the treadmills , I got showed earlier in the day how to use them by my request.. but couldn't get any of them to work . So used other exercise pods spent about 2 hours there .. and rather liked it got a good sweat on , I thought the other buff folk would be intimidating.. but they weren't .. they just doing there own thing . Music was good . Water refill fountains , after 22:00 there's a private shower cubicle, it did take a couple minutes for warm water to come through this in turn led to a bit of a puddle .. there's drinks available in the machine . Provided I don't ache too much tomorrow I suspect I will frequent often. They have little diagrams on the machine s telling you what do and which muscles it exercises , I'm quite tall 6"7 ISH , some of the machines clearly don't have super tall folk in mind .. most that I tried were fine.
