Well what started as a bad experience was quickly sorted by the excellent staff. We won a nights stay at the INNSiDE Newcastle and on our way driving up we got a call from the PR agency saying there was a mis-communication and we actually had no room to stay in. As part of the prize was to see the Royal Northern Sinfonia we needed somewhere to change, the PR agency said there was no where to change but we would be able to use the toilets to get changed when we arrived. However this still meant we had nowhere to spend the night. On arrival we spoke to staff, who understandably were confused by the whole thing, they confirmed the PR agency failed to actually book a room. However, the staff were excellent they said go take a seat we'll get you some drinks and we will sort it out. They sure did they managed to find is a room in a very nice suite overlooking the river Tyne. They even arranged for an extra bed for our son in the room. When we got to the room it was clean and well laid out, with a huge bed and tea coffee facilities, plus complimentary drink in the fridge. One thing I really liked was the TV was a nice modern smart TV with things like streaming, YouTube, etc all built it, which makes a change from other hotels I have stayed in. The room layout was good, fantastic view of the river and the really weird kinda open plan bathroom. The sink was in the room at one end and the shower was also in the room. The actual only sealed off room was the toilet. A weird and actually quite nice layout. Now the only down side is parking, there are limited spaces and it's actually the most expensive place to park in Newcastle £18 for 24 hours, so whilst it's convenient for the hotel it's not cheap. But all in all a really nice experience. So if you are looking for a hotel in Newcastle go for the INNSiDE and you won't be disappointed.

First time staying here and we were sooooo impressed, the hotel is beautiful inside (especially at Christmas time) absolutely loved the grinch Christmas tree 🫶🏻 we had a balcony room on the second floor, sparkling clean, plenty of towels, complimentary healthy drinks in the fridge, teas coffees, shower gel, hand wash etc, such a quiet part of the town, could not hear a single noise when the door was closed. Breakfast in the Gino d’acampo restaurant was unreal plenty to choose from, hot trays with everything you need for a full English, fresh fruits, cereals, cheeses, meats, croissants, muffins, bread, jams, juices and a coffee machine, literally something there for everyone! The staff were all friendly and helpful! We loved our stay from start to finish 🫶🏻 thank you
