the host was initially very friendly but then accused us of leaving the dish washing area a mess but it wasn’t us. practically a building site with loud noise as early as 5am. toilet block was filthy and only one shower. definitely not 5 star worthy campsite, would not stay again.

Just spent 3 nights here in our tourer. Gordon the warden is friendly and very helpful. Even when he is busy keeping the site clean and tidy he still makes time to chat or answer any queries. We stayed on a grass pitch with electric, we was allowed to position our van to suit us, cars can be parked next to van. Price included 4 people. Dogs made welcome, and there is a feild that's 3/4 enclosed and can play off lead. We had a great stay, everyone staying at same time as us were all friendly and chatty. Would recommend this site. People have left negative comments on the toilet block but Gordon has informed us the owners have taken the comments seriously and have started preparations for a new toilet / shower block to be built. At present the female toilet block has 2 toilets and 1 very big, spacious shower. Mens has 1 of each. This may be old but its kept clean and all amenities work well.
