Good sized pool and plenty of changing facilities. Limited private shower cubicles but several open showers. Shower cubicles aren't clean and the pool itself seems a bit mouldy around the edges. Friendly staff.

Really disappointed. Swimming pool is RARELY open to the public and paying members, especially after 5pm, so good luck if you have a job, I guess. Best time to go is mid-afternoon, but the chances are you’ll show up to a sign on the door saying it’s closed for another gala or swim club. Gym is always packed full after around 12pm, so again, good luck if you plan on going after work. If you like cycling, you’ll be okay because they have a LOT of bikes which are always empty, but everything else, like treadmills and spaces to stretch, you will have to stand around waiting for. If you come to the gym with a workout plan, you’ll probably leave without being able to do half of it because of how busy it always is. It really should be bigger for the amount of members there are. I had a nice time at the yoga class, so that is one plus to the membership. If there was another leisure centre with a pool in Durham city, I would move to it instantly. And on top of all that, the opening times are disappointing compared to other gyms, especially on the weekends. The prices are so high for the VERY small opportunity you get to use any of the facilities. For example, today the pool was open to the public for only 2.5 hours mid-afternoon; if you work a job, you’ll probably rarely get a chance to use the pool.
