Fantastic site only booked as we were visiting friends nearby on our way north. A real hidden gem just off the motorway. Site staff extremely friendly and welcoming, toilet and shower facilities were first class. The site was clean and well maintained. We will definitely use this site again.

The site is nice, the pitches well spaced and an excellent shower and ablutions block, everything you would expect and all the site is very clean. However it's run on rules rules rules! Don't turn up early you will have to wait, but your not allowed to wait outside the gate, there is no mention of arrival time and the fact you will be denied entry if you arrive during the staff lunch break, the staff are very strict and not at all warm and welcoming, they site and facilities were not explained or pointed out nor the need for a barrier tab, they were more concerned about following the rules and seem to have forgotten guests are there business. It felt more like a council run business, where you must do as you are told. We had a friend travel two hours to collect some urgent equipment from us, and they were denied entry, ("we can't allow them on site" we were told) under protest they were allowed on for a few minutes. Unfortunately we will not return, we actually prefer a more family run business, or a family focused site were the guests are put first and at the centre of the parks business model, not employees who think it's they duty to inforce the company rule book come what may!
