I had a very disappointing experience at this swimming pool. At the entrance, the cashier was unfriendly and unhelpful. The locker system was very inconvenient – you can only lock and unlock it once, which makes it difficult if you need to go back later. The changing rooms were very small, the toilets had a bad smell with no proper ventilation, and the shower cabins were tiny, with no place to hang clothes or a towel. In the pool area, we were told at the cashier that half of the pool would be closed, but when we got inside, the only proper swimming lane was also shut down soon after because of children’s swimming lessons. The lifeguard asked us to move to the family area, which was extremely crowded and too shallow to swim properly. When several swimmers complained, the lifeguard showed no understanding and just told us to “try anyway,” which was not acceptable. We stayed only about 15 minutes before leaving, because it was impossible to swim. On top of this, when I found and returned a lost phone to the cashier, there was not even a simple “thank you.” The staff were generally unfriendly, and the whole experience was unpleasant. I would not return here again, and I would not recommend it to others.

A good pool and plenty of changing cubicles and lockers. A palaver at reception where they charge 20p for a locker token but don't take cash, why can't lockers be included with online booking? Unsure if there are any other showers but the only ones I saw were right at the poolside so no privacy....
