The Gym Group London Vauxhall

I am leaving 2 stars for the changing area, shower and toilets 🤮🤢🤮🤢 they are absolutely gross and have been like this for wayyyyy too long! The toilets are always blocked with loads of toilet roll laying everywhere, the hand dryer has been out of use for months 🙄 The changing room always has the most disgusting smell, there is never enough hand wash in the container and the sink area is always left in the most disgusting state. I visited the gym a couple days ago and the sanitary bins were so full that there were pads and tampons all over the floor. The Gym needs more cleaners that actually do their job properly, there is one female cleaner that cleans in high heels, that explains a lot!

This Vauxhall branch is London's most inclusive social experiment: penthouse owners and social housing residents, all equally sweaty and united in their quest for gains. The machines are plentiful, the staff are friendly (they actually greet you!), and the efficiency is superb. However, the community spirit is intense: I once had to decline a spontaneous shower invitation from a fellow member. Come for the gear and the genuine human connection, but maybe bring your own soap. Highly recommended.
