I’ve always been a member of the gym group. My first membership was at the one in Leyton, I then took a break and I joined this gym. I’m glad I made the move, this gym is more spacious, more equipment and also they have different equipment that my last gym didn’t have. Absolutely love this gym! The equipment is always clean and well-maintained, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere is super motivating. The space is so big and there is a lot of equipment available. Another thing to mention is that this gym is run my camera’s so there’s no staff in the gym 24/7, they are watching on the camera’s. The only staff you see in the gym are the personal trainers and class leaders. There’s also a great sense of community here people are respectful and focused, and there’s a supportive vibe that makes it easy to stay consistent. The locker rooms are clean and well-stocked, but the parking options here are quite poor. Most of them are Monday - Sunday 9:00am - 11:00pm or Monday - Sunday 9:00am - 9:00pm. Even if you do come in between those times all the parking spaces are always full. The gym group app is very useful. They have lots of different work out and stretches for you to choose from so you can create your own gym routine, and create your own list. You can set goals, book classes and book personal trainers aswell. The app also lets you know how many people are at the gym.

It’s an acceptable gym if you go off peak, and remember it’s cheap. But there are a lot of faults. Firstly, the door situation is kind of dangerous - you need to scan a QR code to enter and exit, but there is no mobile signal inside and no working WiFi. So you can easily become trapped inside. As with most commercial gyms, there are not enough squat racks so you’ll probably have to wait. Even when the gym is at 40% capacity you’ll have almost no luck getting any equipment. If it’s over 30% personally I will avoid it. The gym is very disorganised. Plates are left all over the place, in no order. Bumper plates are mixed in with machine plates. Some racks and machines have no plates, others have a bizarre distribution. Clips and collars left all over. Barbells get used by people for hip thrusts and just left on the floor instead of being returned. The gym does not provide paper towel or wipes, so bring your own and remember most other users do not clean up their own sweat. There are no bands, pvc pipes or dowels etc for warming up and only one technique (8kg) barbell and one womens weight barbell (15kg). But they do have bumper plates and lifting platforms so it’s ok for Weightlifting if you get a rack. Not sure what time they clean, but when I arrive at 6:30ish there are often many empty cans and bottles on the floor as well as other general litter.
