The Gym Group London Monument

This gym has gone downnnnnnnhill. I hate coming here. We pay for a 24 hour gym because we want the flexibility to visit the gym at any time. The changing rooms are always locked when I get there around 1am for cleaning. Once the cleaners clean the changing rooms, they should be opened back, not us waiting for the whole gym to be clean. One time, my clothes were locked inside, and the female cleaner refused to unlock the changing rooms until she was done. You expect us to women to share one disabled toilet with the men and every person who uses the gym at night. I had to change in that toilet one time right after someone had defecated. All because the toilets remain locked. Sort that out. It makes no sense. The boxing bag has been removed. The led strip lights in the bike room don’t come on anymore. My membership price isn’t worth the facilities. The tap in the ladies toilet has been green and faulty for over 2 years now. I renewed my membership and it was still the same. We are paying for full use of the facilities. There’s no support or customer service at night. It’s just a waste of money. I leave this gym feeling irritated every time. I had to stop paying my membership. I wouldn’t recommend this gym at all.

Very clean, better equipment than my home Gym. Weekday mornings are rather quiet and a great way to start the day. Lunch and after work can be very hectic though. Ladies’ change rooms and showers are always very clean, though need more large lockers. Eight really isn’t enough in the mornings. Only con is that quite a few times now I’ve booked a class only for it to be cancelled, no notice given and it still appearing on the calendar. Still, love coming here and makes the trek into the office worth it!
