First time staying, received a very warm welcome (American guy- didn't get his name sorry!) guided tour round the facilities. Stayed in Covent Garden, 8 sleeper room, but there were only 2 of us so that was great. Beds were comfy and rooms were nice and warm. Liked the private bathrooms on the top floor, used the other showers, great pressure, lovely and hot. Generally every where was clean and tidy, lucky to stay at the weekend and free pancakes were being served with a choice of toppings. Massive kitchen/dining area and cute little courtyard. As a woman travelling on her own I felt perfectly safe, other staff and residents all very friendly. Great location for attending gigs at Union Chapel. Very short walk from Angel tube station and lots of buses nearby, plus every shop you could ever need. Really good value for money. Looking forward to my next stay already. Issues that need attention... The blind in the room, needs taking down, not fit for purpose. Mirror needed in the room, so you can do your hair without getting in the way of people using the communal area. Shelf in the shower cubicle for putting your products/key card on. More mugs and teaspoons needed in the kitchen. A reminder to people about quiet hours over night, maybe it was just because it was a Friday? But it was noisy, people using facilities at 2/4am, music on somewhere in the building. Free earplugs might be a nice touch.
