The management is very poor. Many fitness classes were cancelled without any notice or suitable replacement. More than once, we were already in the studio — or even in the water for Aqua Aerobics — only to be told to go home. It would cost nothing for the gym to send a text or make a quick call to inform members. Additionally, the cleanliness is inadequate, and the showers frequently have no hot water. After three years of paying regularly and consistently, I’ve finally decided to give up my membership.

I visited for the first time today for the free Tower Hamlets women’s swimming. I was hesitate over the previous reviews but I had a great experience. The pool was quiet (6ish), the showers hot, lockers available for a 20p coin (you don’t get it back) and very easy to go straight in and out. Lots of kids in the kids area which is great to see it being used.
