Avoid staying at this hotel. We checked in early yesterday temp really high. We were able to leave our bags as our room was not ready. I booked a restaurant reservation for 7pm. Got back to the hotel up 8 flights of stairs to the top room no lift... found the electric fan not working. Phone was not working to ring reception. Went back downstairs to report fan not working was told they would replace it which he did with a,smaller fan. Insisted on showing me how to use said fan.. Then we were going to have a shower before going out went into the bathroom to find they had not provided any towels. Had to report this to reception and wait a further 10 mins for towels. Sink faulty dripping tap the , shower went from warm to freezing cold. Bedding did not fit bed... not worth the price. Very disappointing.

Ideally I'd like to give 2.5 stars. The price and location are great. The room was small, as expected. The biggest issue was the cleanliness. We very nearly opted not to stay. As mentioned by other reviewers, there was no mattress or pillow protectors. The bedding was too small (the sheet wouldn't tuck in so you'd likely wake up on the mattress itself). The duvet was too small (the exact same size as the mattress) and was damaged so wouldn't do up. The biggest issue was that the bedding was covered in hair and stains. I counted up to 10 hairs before I stopped! We covered the pillows in our own shirts, requested 2 sheets to wrap the mattress in and slept in our clothes. Pretty gross! The shower was tiny too. Lucky I'm slim!
