COOL NEW GYM! This place used to be Xercise4Less, and it was in pretty bad shape before. But now that it’s been taken over by JD Gyms, they’ve clearly spent a lot of money turning this into a super-mega gym! The first thing you’ll notice is how much space there is and the open-plan layout of the place. It’s laid out really well and it’s easy to find what you’re looking for … even though this place is a mammoth 24,000 sq.ft The cardio area is all in a line and it’s easy to spot where machines are free. The main part of the gym floor is full of machines and plate loaded equipment, which looks awesome from above. They have a functional Eleiko rig area with 6 Olympic weightlifting platforms, so you won’t struggle to get on anything even at busy times. And that free weights area is massive, just look at some of the pictures! The only things that aren’t open-plan are the main studio for classes, and the cool-blue Spin room. It’s worth noting that classes are free and included in the price of membership. The changing rooms have been upgraded, and with new lockers too, which is a bonus. Overall for the money you’re paying (currently £19.99 per month), it’s definitely worth joining - even if you’re a member of another gym already. Either cancel your old membership and join here, or just have both. It’s cheap enough!
