The gym itself is nice, well equipped & seems to have everything you need. Friendly staff, though they're not always around when you need them. The problem lies with a lot of the members there who show a severe lack of respect to the gym & other members. I've seen people take out 6-8 dumbbells at once so other people can't use them. I've seen people finish with their weights but just leave them on the floor instead of putting them back on the racks & it's getting to the point where I feel like I may need to challenge some of the other members on this since the staff don't bother to police the gym. People will spend 5-10 mins on machines in between their sets whilst scrolling or taking selfies on their phones. Some days, the dumbbell & barbell racks are nearly empty cause people just leave them on the floor. Littering is another problem. There are plenty of bins, but people just leave their empty water bottles wherever they have been working out, whether that's in the gym, in the changing room, or in the sauna. The toilet cubicles are often littered with toilet paper, much to the annoyance of the one cleaner who seems to work 24hr shifts there, but the poor thing struggles to keep on top of everything. The cardio equipment tends to come with rubbish or chewing gum in the cup holders. The showers are so vile that I've stopped using them, empty toiletry bottles, used underwear hanging everywhere, people feeling the need to spit & snot everywhere as soon as they step into the shower, it's little wonder why I kept on getting ill when using them. The sauna is nice, but again it tends to have a few empty bottles cast aside in there. Plus members tossing eucalyptus oil everywhere to the point where you're blinded by the fumes when you walk in. Despite going here for a year now I'm still yet to find a quiet period as the place seems to be constantly packed, especially on bank holidays. I do think this gym has the potential to be a really great place with a really good atmosphere, the colour scheme of the gym is nice & I like the decorative plants going up the wall on the stairs. The staff just need to really step up their game of making sure members are actually respecting the environment as small notices on the mirrors of Don't drop the weights & Please return weights after using them, clearly aren't working. Edit: They have improved things a bit. I like the new equipment & they've utilised the space a bit more. There is much less rubbish on the gym floor, however there is still quite a bit in the changing room & on the cardio machines. There is still a very large problem with members being too lazy to put equipment back, instead opting to just kick it aside when they're finished with it. As my video shows.

This gym advertises 24/7, but the ventilation (AHU) is not running 24/7 as it should. It gets switched off at night and only turned back on at 5 a.m. – which means air circulation is poor and CO₂ levels, especially on the second floor, are extremely high. That’s not only uncomfortable but also unhealthy for members training late at night or early in the morning. Hygiene is another serious issue. There seems to be no proper deep cleaning. For example, chewing gum has been stuck in a treadmill bottle holder for over a month without anyone noticing or cleaning it. If small things like this are ignored, it makes you question how well the rest of the facility is maintained. Overall, very disappointing for a gym that promotes itself as 24/7. Both air quality and cleanliness need urgent improvement to meet even basic health and safety standards.
