Holiday Inn Express London - Stansted Airport by IHG

Really pricey for what you get, but at least everything’s modern. We were there for 1 night. If you need anything the staff is really helpful. We were messing with the thermostat because it was blowing really loud and cold air. It wasn’t saving what temperature we set, so we were hoping to not freeze overnight if it doesn’t heat up. (Luckily it did somehow) In the bathroom the lightning is bad so if you do your makeup or something I recommend doing it in the room instead. Not the cleanest hotel I’ve been to but I would say it’s 80-90% clean based off of mirror/carpet and dust on signs and stuff. There’s shower gel, shampoo, hair dryer, clothing iron and also towels. Breakfast options are okay, for the small space it’s good selection. Was yummy, the area looks nice and the staff there is also really sweet and welcoming! Shuttle bus is expensive (£4 for like 2mins) but convinient because there’s no way you’re walking to the airport. Overall, I would’ve stayed longer. :) The photos were taken after we already packed out our things and got comfortable so don’t mind that.
