First time at Camberwell Community Sauna inside Ruskin Park. It is at the bottom of Denmark Hill close to Kings College hospital and Denmark Hill train station and on the 42/68/468 bus route as well as other buses coming from Camberwell. I agree with other reviewers, very thoughtfully designed and nice touches such as a big container of herbal tea, water and aromatherapy oils inside the wet sauna. There are metal cage lockers so bring a padlock to store valuables. Bring two small towels, one to sit on (a rule) and one to dry off / put over your shoulders as you walk in the outside spaces. There are three sauna huts, one dry sauna for silence, one dry sauna where you can talk, one of these is hotter than the other and a lower temperature wet sauna. They were all clean. There are a few private charging cubicles, one unisex and one each for male /female. The staff are very friendly and helpful. You don’t need to bring your phone as they find your name and time on the booking system. I took a piece of paper with receipt number in case. The sessions last one hour 30. Everyone there was relaxed, friendly and it felt like a welcoming space. I went with friend and we tried the wool-felt sauna caps - not seen those before! May get my own as apparently tradition in Scandinavia to keep head cooler, protect hair, reduce overheating and helping body to regulate temperature so less strain on cardiovascular system.Highly recommended giving this community sauna a go. Definitely feels like a community vibes place.

Such a peaceful environment, clearly lots of thought has gone into it (Free tea that changes every week! Hot showers!) with really nice people working there. Special shout out to the guy who helped me out when I had an injury yesterday 😊 …
