The location is excellent, very close to King’s Cross, which is definitely one of the biggest positive points of this hostel and makes getting around London very easy. The reception staff is friendly. The Brazilian guy in charge of breakfast is super kind and attentive. I would also like to highlight Adam, the blond guy with curly hair, who tried to help me when the washing machine was not working. I was told that there is a special key used for these situations, but unfortunately it was lost. Still, his attitude was very helpful and professional. The guy who did my check-in, Lachlan, was also very kind. The common areas are nice and pleasant to spend time in, and the breakfast is good for the price. However, there are some negative points: the beds are extremely uncomfortable, and the bed sheets were dirty and yellowish, which should be improved urgently. The atmosphere inside the rooms, in particular, did not feel like that of a typical youth or traveler hostel. At times, it felt more like a shelter for homeless people, which is not a pleasant environment if you are looking for a traveler or social hostel experience. After mentioning this to one of the reception girls (I don’t remember her name, but she told me she is from Lithuania), she explained that because London is such an expensive city, many people with family or work-related problems end up staying in places like this. I understand and empathize with this situation, but hostels and hotels are usually meant for travelers, and when the room atmosphere is not traveler-oriented, it is not a pleasant environment for guests looking for that experience. In summary, great location and very friendly staff, but issues with comfort and the atmosphere inside the rooms.

Love this place. It’s my first time traveling to London and I’m very happy with the hostel. It’s very close to King’s Cross St. Pancras station. Easy to go to the British Museum and the Big Ben. Just feel stops away from the major theaters and the Regent street. Perfect if you want to see the famous tourist attractions in London. Facility is adequate, if you are looking for toilets made with gold choose somewhere else, otherwise it has all the facilities you will need. You can freely use the kitchen in the basement floor from 12:00pm. Breakfast is provided at 5.5 pounds. Laundry is 5pounds for the wash and 2 pounds for the dry, very fair price cuz I can chuck all my winter clothes in at once. The room is pretty decent with individual lockers and charging stations for each bed. But be aware that the locker is not big enough to put suitcases bigger than 24 inches. But you can just put your larger suitcases in the open area in the room with your own lock on and it’s safe. Remember to bring a lock for the locker.
