It's a relatively new truck stop, but the showers and toilets are disgraceful. There are 2 showers for 130 spaces plus any that want a break. The showers spray water everywhere but down towards you. The shower heads are full of limescale it is clogging the holes in the shower head. The water temperature is hit and miss, if it is freezing outside then the showers will be cold. If it's hot outside then the showers will be very hot. The showers look as if they have never been cleaned, they are yellowing, slimy and mold is starting to grow. The toilets are filthy and are only cleaned once a day if they are lucky. There are 4 toilets (2 are unisex instead of female only) for 130 truck drivers plus any that stop for a short break. The toilets and floors will be covered in wee and poo. Toilet paper and soap regularly run out. They have replaced the electric door locks that failed to work 100% of the time with flimsy flip locks that can be easily broken. They have switched off heating in the disabled/unisex toilet which has stopped the hand dryer from working. The water to wash your hands is freezing cold unless you have 5 minutes to waste to run the water until its warm. For something that's less then 6 months old, it is falling apart fast. The management have neglected the facilities as it costs them money.
