Stayed for five nights and had a great time! For a hostel it was quite clean, people were quite respectful too. i made some good friends and joined in on group activities and had so much fun! The showers dont have any shelves or baskets or ledges to set your toiletries, so make sure you have a bag of some sort since there are 2 hooks on the walls. storage baskets were a tad noisey but i had no issues since my roommates and i were all considerate with our noise and we all woke up/slept around the same time. staff are super friendly and anthony took a group of us out to a pub! location is right in central which was really nice. overall it was my first hostel experience, im a big germaphobe and managed just fine so would definitely recommend!

This hostel is more than suitable for a short stay with good transport access. I stayed 4 nights in a 4-bed female dorm, and while it’s not the nicest one I’ve been to, it provided me with the bare minimum of a clean bed to rest my head. Additionally, having a basin with a soap dispenser in my room was very convenient as I didn’t have to worry about waiting to use a sink in the communal bathrooms. Staff are friendly and helpful. Laundry detergent pods sold for £1 at the front desk. Bathrooms were relatively clean, but shower curtains felt a bit unhygienic. One of my biggest criticisms, however, is the laundry situation which is pretty dire, so I strongly suggest you to do your laundry elsewhere as there are only two washer-dryers and it was almost a competition to try and get your washing load in before someone else did. While not the fault of the hostel, it also didn’t help that some people wouldn’t pick up their laundry up in a timely manner so clothes would be left in the dryer for hours leaving you waiting for longer to use the machines. It’s also behind a door in a hallway that blocks access to people entering or leaving from the kitchen behind it. I’ve included a photo of it for reference as there don’t seem to be any photos on their website. Wifi was pretty patchy too and often forced me to burn up a lot of my mobile data. Power sockets near my bed didn’t work. Also no lift/elevator (like many hostels), so don’t bring any massive bags or suitcases with you unless you’re prepared to drag them up several flights of stairs if you’re assigned a top level room.
