1 Craven Hill Gardens

Very bad customer service. We were emailed the morning of arrival, to say that check in is closed at 9pm. We arrived early as we landed in from Dublin early. We left our bags there until check in & told Sanjana, we are going to Winter Wonderland and we would be back before 9pm. She told us to make sure we are back before, as she will be going home at 9. So that was fine. We got to the hotel at 8.40pm & she opened the door to us, in the utmost of ignorant attitudes. She said “Finally. I have been waiting a long time for you. I have been emailing you because check in is closed at 9.” And then was giving out to because I never responded or arrived earlier. I didn’t see her emails and I was too busy having fun. We had until 9pm to check in anyway, as informed, so I didn’t see what the big problem was. Someone was obviously wanting to go home early. I have worked in a hotel for 10 years myself & I know that you do not speak to guests in this manner. I did not appreciate being spoken to like this, just because we didn’t arrive at a time that suited her own schedule. I will not be recommending anyone to stay here, nor will I be returning myself. Also on a side note, shampoo & shower gel are provided in 1 sachet per person & I do not know how they expect people to wash themselves with that because there is barely anything in them.
