Ever since I moved in over a month ago the toilet in my en-suite doesn’t flush properly and the shower is not even a proper shower more like a swimming pool shower in a wet room. temperature is too hot for me to wash. Did ask maintenance to fix the toilet but it might flush once but then it stops flushing again. And apparently the shower temperature can’t be changed. Room is small and full of people who smoke weed and hang out at the entrance. My depression has got way worse living here and don’t feel comfortable around the people.

Right THIS YMCA IS TERRIBLE ID RATHER BE HOMELESS . Women under 18 who fake seizures waste ambulance time, the girls are entitled and can shout at the guys and if we shout back the guys get in trouble for reacting, constant drug use and controlling demanding staff, very condescending, threatened to report guys for stuff and not the girls, 24/7 drum and bass music, judged room searches, the will pick you out and try get your placement removed and lie, overreact and refuse to proof any reason for termination. Only women staff apart from 2 not including chef. Ever since i moved in, absolutely nothing but drama, the entire environment overall feels sexist judged from the way the staff approach situations, the room was awful aswell, the showers dont work properly, you cannot bring food out of the canteen/social area, DO not come to this ymca, you will not be happy.
