The Orchard Campsite

Lovely location in the river Deb, just off the A12. Electric and non electric pitches. We had a nice spot right but the river, pleasant willow trees offering shade. Fires are permitted, but only with wood purchased at the camp shop. Fires can be made anywhere pretty much, so watch out for former campfire 'holes' in the field. Camp shop looks to have been renovated and carries all the things one might need if caught out, open most of the day, card accepted. Dogs were permitted so that's nice. There's a nice, short, circular walk at the bottom of the site. Of course, clean up after them please... Washroom, clean and functional with a communal covered area for washing up etc with fridges washing machine/dryer etc. I didn't really use those, but a good idea. Location is good quite near town and Sutton hoo etc. We went as part of a group with regular meet ups, so we will definitely be back and very happy to do so.

We love this campsite! Very spacious pitches Lovely and friendly staff Peaceful, secluded, great views- exactly what you want! Campfires allowed Site shop Toilets and showers clean and spacious Communal kitchen area We have yet to find a nicer campsite than this one!
