Parkside Pools and Gym

The pool is fine, there’s the main one and a smaller one which is also used for diving but they lift the floor and it’s a younger child pool. The baby pool is tiny. All the pools felt bit cold which is not unusual for this area unfortunately my 9 month old was shivering in the baby pool which was the warmest one but once he started kicking around seemed okay. The changing rooms absolutely stink and that is the reason we won’t go back because I couldn’t stand it and the changing rooms were slimy on the floor and we struggled changing with no clean baby changer to use so had to hold him and get us all dry and dressed which took a lot time in that smell. On the plus the flumes were really fun though! There is a cafe but we didn’t use.

It's okay, there are two pools one for laps one for kids playing, the temperature and cleanliness of the pools are great, the flumes or slides are fun and stable and reasonably clean. Good for all ages and abilities and the staff are all very nice 👍 The changing rooms are questionable in size and sanitation but okay, I recommend flip flops or pool socks though... Gyms all good quality equipment and nicely lay out, although it's small. Changing rooms for girls is small and there's not much privacy in there. Overall good 👍 Prices are okay as well Fun special events eg cancer research fundraisers are great for kids day out!
