Newbourne Woodland Campsite

Amazing campsite. It’s the perfect mix of beautiful wilderness with the comfort of spotless facilities, fridge, charging etc. Such a calm atmosphere that filters from the owners to all the campers on site. Pitches are very spread out and you can pick whether to be in a wooded area or open field. There are picnic benches dotted around to camp next to. Plenty of BBQs and fire pits to borrow, and logs/charcoal available. The toilets/showers were spotless and the fridge was huge, plus plenty of charging plugs for your phone. Not to mention a kettle! Small shop on site had everything from fresh fruit/veg to meat and cheese, plus camping supplies. You could turn up with next to nothing and anything you need there - with very reasonable prices. Every campsite needs to learn from this place. We will definitely be back!

If tour looking fir a peaceful we'll run campsite you can't get any better than this the campsite consists of open area with small copies of trees and a thickly wooded area....so you can choose where to set up. They never take more than 18 campers so it's never overrun. You can ha e a firepit and a BBQ all of which are supplied on site along with charcoal and wood which is honesty bound if you use you let them know and I thi k it's about 8 pounds something of that order we brought our own but you could pitch up with nothing .... there is also a little shop up at the top The showers and ablutions are second to none extremely modern and clean with classic fm playing Just down the road 0.8 mile there is a lively chocolate box type pub called the Fox ..very popular ... this is a must visit great food 18 to 25 pounds per person .... and great fun walking back in the dark. I think it's one of the very nicest campsites I've been to over the years.
