Outdated equipment and facilities. Oversubscribed. No hope in hell of getting a bench or using the equipment desired during peak times. That’s if the equipment doesn’t have an ‘out of order’ sign on it considering none of it’s been updated in the main gym for the last 10 years minimum. Sauna in the ladies changing rooms doesn’t work. No steam in the steam room. If you go on a Saturday or during half term, the gym is actually a crèche. Lovely, friendly place, but not the place to go if you actually want a workout! Ridiculously overpriced.

I visit three times per week and have done so for several years using both gym and wet area. Small friendly, local gym, with very active squash section. Bar, food plus sufficient (and clean) changing facilities.
