No sanitation in the gym!!! How are so many people using the equipment but nothing to while down. Bringing a towel isn’t enough. We need some sanitiser spray or wipes. Have you touched a barbell after a sweaty person has used it? Also with norovirus and Covid going around how are you keeping us patrons safe? Would love to do a positive post one this question had been answer and issue resolved? This is standard practice in gyms. I tried speaking to staff but they said head office removed all sanitation. Please make it make sense? Here are some updates from yesterday definitely cleaned “regularly”… people definitely use their “sweat towels”… soaps been empty since last week in the bathroom.

The gym is fine for what you pay and the hours it serves 247 especially in comparison to other local gyms. It does what it says on the tin and what you pay for. Good variety of machines free weights cables and plenty of squat racks. Missing machines they don’t have include assisted pull up/dips, laying leg curl, core machines. Also additional attachments for cable machines would be useful like a v bar. When machines are broken they are fixed in a good amount of time. Functional area for sled push included with variety of kettlebell. Good array of cardio machines and a woman’s only section. Woman’s only section has all the old equipment and DB up to 10kg. Member etiquette could be improved no one deracks and staff don’t bother cleaning up so you find equipment everywhere in random places can be really frustrating. Lots of young members with their tripods you often trip over their camera sticks. Gym doesn’t provide any hygiene stations to wipe down or clean equipment. Membership includes 2 hr free parking in the chimes takes about. 10 m to walk there and walk back. Come before 8am and you can park on the high street or outside. Staff could definitely work harder in cleaning up, you often see the cleaning paper on the wall signed off with all the hours ticked off up to 10am slot when it’s only 7am. Male bald head worker comes across quite creepy approaching all females and making unneeded comments. 247 toilet has been out of order this week which has been FOUL how can you expect anyone let alone a female no toilet space to urinate during a workout ! Toilets super foul see photo and this is ladies toilets? Other image shown staff lying about their checks and the times their signing off interesting DB signing off at 8:05 when it isn’t even 7am yet ? Also some members have mad BO.
