Holiday Inn Express Norwich by IHG

Warm welcome by the reception team. The room was located at the end of the corridor and it was quiet. Initially thought the room felt clean but then I spotted the grime in the shower that ran down the sides of the shower into. I wiped a small area and the result was gross. I expect better than this at a IHG hotel. It does not take a minute to wipe down a shower after guests have left.

Paid for a better room and so far on my tours of UK, it was 2nd best I've stayed in(room109) Downside was after a shower, fancied a beer and found glasses over all bar taps and no draughts available other than Camden lager(not a fan) Big disappointment as left only 330ml bottles at silly price. Due to this, didn't stay and order food. In the morning, tried bfast and no black pudding, mushrooms, fried egg. Scrambled was there, so made a bap rather than having English Breakfast. Big disappointment after having to feed elsewhere. Again, room, parking, staff excellent. The need to leave site and go elsewhere, left me unsure if I would return.
