Beccles Lido

A lovely 30m pool, heated to around 28° during the summer season. We booked in advance on the website for an early morning lane swim as this is a popular pool and sessions can reach capacity. The pool is fairly wide (about 16m), with 4 lanes (slow/ medium-slow/ medium-fast/ fast) which work really well as there is plenty of room to swim breaststroke and even overtake within each lane. There is also a smaller pool for younger kids. The main pool has a small water slide, plus a low diving board, which are open during the casual swim sessions. Staff are friendly + 2 attentive lifeguards at either side of the pool. There is limited free parking at the pool, but there is an additional free car park along the road. There are traditional changing cubicles, which are clean, warm outdoor showers, and a relatively new toilet block. Lockers are available (£1 refundable), and there's a small tuck shop on site. Definitely a pool worth visiting 🤗

Wow, what a brilliant place to visit. I was really impressed and will definitely visit again. The pool is a really good size and it's busy but not over busy. It's a heated outdoor pool so it's a good temperature. There is also a spring board which is great fun. We had some chips which were good value and a decent price. Next time we'll aim for a double ticket so we can try the inflatable too. Around the pool there are sunbeds and some umbrellas but we took our own chairs as well as it was busy around the pool. There are changing rooms (outdoors ) which were clean and dry and the toilet facilities were clean and well looked after. We used the meadows parking which was worth it .
