Ultra Fit Ladies Gym Derby

I used to go to this gym back when they offered two membership options: £28 for the standard package and £38 if you wanted access to the sauna. Now they’ve removed the cheaper option entirely, leaving only the £38 membership. For that price, I expect a high-standard gym but unfortunately, the quality has gone downhill. Several machines don’t work or aren’t even plugged in, including the bike and the rower, which have been out of action for far too long. On top of that, the showers have been broken for a while with still no sign of repair. For nearly £40 a month, basic maintenance should be a given. What makes this even more frustrating is that many higher-quality gyms charge around £25 a month and provide fully working equipment and proper facilities. Even their Birmingham branch looks far higher quality, with a better layout and well-maintained machines — so it’s disappointing that this location doesn’t meet the same standard. Overall, the value just isn’t there anymore. Until the equipment and facilities are brought back up to standard, I can’t recommend this gym.
