i’m staying. here to go to alton towers as hotels there are insane prices we walk in and it’s not too bad the bathroom has a bit of black mold and smelt damp everything else was good free tea and coffee etc then when it comes to night time i couldn’t sleep until 3am due to loud noises outside coming from what sounded ashe receptionist they were arguing with a other woman for a good 2 hours showing no sympathy for others after that the next day our shower didn’t turn on properly we called the person an was super rude and said i quote “Well it should work to be honest shouldn’t it?” ina. rude voice we didn’t think much of it just as a funny joke but then he started being super rude and didn’t even say goodbye or anything super rude th rooms are fairly decent though for the price your paying

One of the worst and certainly the weirdest ‘hotels’ I have ever stayed in. The rooms look great on the photos but then so do so many. In reality the room was adequate. The bed looked good but in reality was desperately in need of a new mattress - very saggy and uncomfortable. The rooms were only cleaned once a week which is weird in itself and even that didn’t happen. Tea, coffee, milk, towels, toilet paper were not replenished. The heating didn’t work & it was colder in the room than outside. One positive was a fridge in the room but that didn’t balance out the negatives. Finally, there seemed to be lots of dubious looking ‘guests’ hanging around, not the sort you get in proper hotels, including the noisy annoying woman with her many loud phone calls & occasional visitors (one of whom inadvertently knocked on my door late at night ) it was my misfortune to have next door. She evidently either couldn’t read or more likely couldn’t care about the notices to keep the noise down. As every one of these guests seemed to smoke fiendishly they spent many hours lurking outside and I was also subjected to the delights of a couple fiercely arguing outside my window. Rather than a hotel it was sometimes reminiscent of a ‘sink’ council estate. Naturally the pub next door which apparently once supplied breakfast was closed and appeared on the way to becoming dilapidated, I think it might not be long before the ‘hotel’ joins it.
