Trilogy Active at Belper Leisure Centre

I've been going to Belper leisure centre for over 3 years now and for me it offers a lot for just over £1/day on a monthly full membership. I use the swimming pool 2-3 times per week and they have increased public and lane swimming times over this summer which is greatly appreciated. Yes - the changing facilities could do with a make over, however I can see that they can't do everything at once. The newly refurbed gym looks great! I also use the sauna a lot and it's perfect for me and finally we've got a cold shower - hallelujah :-) The steam room on the other hand needs attention. It has a bizarre smell. I also go to fitness classes from time to time and Jacqui is really my hero when it comes to classes - whether it's yoga, pilates, dancing or body con - she rocks them all! This leisure centre ain't perfect, but what is?! I enjoy the laid back and friendly atmosphere and I'm glad they offer swim classes for the school and kids in general as well as other team sports sessions. It feels like a welcoming hub to me and that is what matters.

July 2025, absolutely appalled by whoever has taken over the pool at BLC. Used to enjoy a 2-3 hour swim regardless of public swim/family fun, now you are removed after only an hour or so and have to pay again to get back in to continue swimming. Its NOT cheap for a family and is NOTHING like we used to enjoy. Will NOT be using again.
