The Gym Group Doncaster

Not my best first experience of the gym. New member. Signed up to improve my health. Have a 24 hour membership because I'd like to use this during quieter hours at night or have flexibility. However, I wasn't aware the locker/changing rooms are closed off between 1am and 3am. That information wasn't easy to find in the app, and there's no signage advising anyone anywhere that this is the case. My keys were in the locker in there. I was unable to access them and had to wait two hours for access to be unlocked for me to get them and go home. Had I been aware of that, I'd have used the accessible lockers in the gym areas themselves. Signage would be good on that. The gym leaks. Noticeably. Not the fault of the gym itself to be fair. The entirety of the Frenchgate Centre itself is leaky and in need of some repair by the owners.

MOLD, LEAKAGE,UNCLEAN AND SMELLY. The gym is constantly closed for refurbishing, where is the refurbishment? Every time I go back into the gym I see buckets on the floor to collect water from leaks coming from the ceiling. There is literal mould everywhere. Why is the gym is always closed for refurbishment when actually it looks the same and is worn down please invest something into this gym it’s not fair for people who come there spend money for half arsed conditions .You need to allow better ventilation and clean equipment and do something about the awful stench when you walk to the second floor. On the top floor where the treadmills are if you look up in front of you there is mold everywhere. Also there isn’t much variety when it comes to be able to have space to lift weights unless you’re at a smith machine which is hovered by men. Please sort out the mould the broken ceilings and clean and make the gym look clean and smell nice. Update- I went into the gym again they have repainted and added lights but MOULD EVERYWHERE STILL, more buckets to collect water and looks a mess also women’s changing room is a state and horrible stench when you walk in. CLEAN THE MOULD, MOULD!
