Southglade Leisure Centre

I really like this place. I used to regularly attend the gym and spin classes, which were great, but these days I mostly use the swimming pool. The facilities are generally clean and well-maintained, and it’s a good environment for both exercise and relaxation. One area that could be improved is the swimming lessons for kids. My son has done Stage 1 three times and Stage 2 three times as well. This wasn’t necessarily due to his progress, but more because of frequent changes – either the swimming teacher changed, or we had to switch the day or time. As a result, it felt like we weren’t moving forward as we should have. That said, the swimming coaches themselves are excellent. They’re dedicated, friendly, and genuinely try their best to work with each child. It’s just a shame that the inconsistency in the structure or scheduling of the lessons can impact a child’s progress. Overall, it’s still a very good centre with plenty to offer. I enjoy using the pool regularly and would recommend it for general fitness and family swimming. A bit more consistency in the kids’ lessons would make it even better.

To be fair swimming is fine cubicals need a good clean so dose the floor cubical doors need replacing half the lockers don't work and outside needs a good weed grass cut general clearing up dosnt give a good impression on the approach to the doors and tonight in the swimming the were three young life guards in the pool area 2 messing about filling blue gloves up with water and chucking them is this a good way to use council equipment and time and in am sure there should be things they could be getting on with not messing around not impressed at all
